Book a Consultation
Simeonov Law Firm works by prior appointment only. This means every consultation is scheduled in advance, so the lawyer can give your case their full attention, no interruptions and no waiting. Consultations are held in Bulgarian and in English.
How to Book an Appointment
Appointments are booked online, directly from the website calendar:
- Pick a free day and time in the booking calendar.
- Choose the type of consultation, in person at the office or online, and fill in your name, email and phone number.
- Accept the terms and pay by card. The payment is processed securely by Stripe; the slot is held for you while you complete it.
- Done. The appointment is booked the moment the payment is received, you get a confirmation email with a calendar file.

How to Prepare
In order to make the most effective use of the consultation time, please prepare the following in advance. You send us the materials once the appointment is booked — in reply to the booking confirmation email you receive after the payment.
1. A brief description of the matter
Describe briefly and in chronological order:
- what happened and when;
- which individuals, companies or institutions are involved;
- what steps have already been taken;
- what outcome you wish to achieve;
- whether any official document has been received or any deadline is approaching.
There is no need to use legal terminology. It is important that you set out all material circumstances, including those which you consider unfavourable to your position.
2. Relevant documents
Gather all documents relating to the matter, for example contracts, correspondence, payment records, notarial notices, court papers, acts of administrative authorities and other evidence.
Please send the documents:
- in full, together with their annexes;
- in legible form and, where possible, in PDF format;
- indicating which version is the most recent and which one has been signed.
We recommend that the materials be sent no later than two full working days before the consultation. A large volume of documents may require additional paid time for preliminary review.
3. Documents received and time limits
If you have received a judicial, administrative, notarial or other official document, contact us by telephone immediately, without waiting for the date of the consultation.
Preclusive (non-extendable) time limits are of particular importance, as missing them may result in the permanent loss of substantive or procedural rights — for example, the right to lodge an appeal, objection, response, application or other means of defence. In a number of cases, a missed time limit cannot be reinstated.
There is no need for you to calculate the time limit yourself. Please indicate:
- when and by what means the document was received;
- who received it;
- whether you have the envelope, a return receipt, a notice of service or an electronic notification;
- whether any steps have already been taken since its receipt.
The date shown on the document does not always coincide with the start of the time limit. The date and manner of service, the type of proceedings and other circumstances may be relevant.
Sending a document does not automatically mean that the Law Office has accepted the engagement or has assumed responsibility for the relevant time limit. This occurs only after review and express confirmation. If a time limit is short or unclear, please also contact us by telephone.
4. Details of the parties
For the purposes of the conflict-of-interest check, please state:
- your full name or the name of the company;
- the names of all opposing parties;
- related persons or companies, where relevant;
- in what capacity you are acting.
Do not send passwords, full bank card details or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
5. Identity and authority to represent
For an in-person consultation, bring a valid identity document.
If you are acting on behalf of a company, organisation or another person, prepare the documents evidencing your authority to represent them.
6. Online consultation
For an online consultation:
- check your connection, microphone and camera in advance;
- make sure you are in a quiet, private room;
- join a few minutes early;
- do not allow recording or the presence of third parties without prior consent.
Late arrival does not automatically extend the reserved time.
7. Key questions
Prepare a short list of the questions you wish to discuss, arranged in order of importance.
Important
The paid consultation comprises a professional discussion within the reserved time.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, it does not automatically include:
- the drafting of a contract, appeal, statement of claim or other document;
- a detailed written legal opinion;
- the review of an unlimited volume of documents;
- legal representation in proceedings;
- negotiations or correspondence with third parties;
- the filing of documents;
- the assumption of responsibility for, and monitoring of, time limits;
- subsequent monitoring of the matter.
Any additional steps required, the time frame for carrying them out and the fee are agreed separately.
The legal assessment is based on the facts and documents provided by you. Incomplete, inaccurate, contradictory or belatedly provided information may affect the accuracy and completeness of the legal conclusions.
